A Widow’s Game
Mrs. Lourdes has just become a widow. After more than fifty years of marriage, she is looking for ways to deal with the loneliness of living alone for the first time in her life. Overwhelmed by the changes in her routine, Lourdes deals with the bureaucratic arrangements of life in a reality that doesn't allow space to experience mourning and longing. One day, Lourdes notices that a chess piece, left unfinished by her husband in the middle of their living room, has moved.
